No but seriously, why would they be impressed by my results?!? they suck! So i must be a really good smoker then! Its alot of people skills and of course "SMOKING"!!

The days are counting down..I have to decide by the 9th..

Finally I can start on my Last Supper jigsaw!!

YIPPIE!!!

I have offers from both KPMG and EY!!! They called me this evening!! PRAISE THE LORD!!

Its amazing, considering I didn't attend any interview workshops nor resume writing workshops. I guess its all about confidence. Yeah...tt's a tip for anyone going for interviews. Really, its about how you present yourself in a composed and confident manner. And of course the repore between you and the interviewer. Okok..enuff...I sound like I'm giving one of those mediocre interview workshop speech.

Anyway, its time for me to make that difficult choice. I'm really torn between the two. My last interview with Deloitte...I'm not really pinning much hopes on that. Also, considering they are rather small...growth opportunities might be limited. Will pray abt it...and see where God wants me to be.

Off to celebrate!!!

PHEW!! TWO DOWN...ONE MORE TO GO!

Its been a nerve-recking week. I just completed two interviews with KPMG and EY.
Thankfully, they weren't as scary as I tot it would be. There were no technical (tell me wat is FRS 18 abt? Do you agree with it?) nor philosophical type of questions (substance over form or form over substance?).

Instead, the interviewers are all rather nice and friendly. Whether it is a facade they are putting on, I'm not too sure.

But overall, the interviews went well. At least there were no awkward silences nor were there stammering. It was a confident delivery (sounds like a Singapore Idol judge comment isn't?). Nothing memorised nor regurgitated.

I'm praying hard for them to call now. Its anytime today or early next week. Never have I held on so dearly to my phone before. I bring it with me EVERYWHERE I go! In the bathroom, for jogs, while washing the dishes.. Simply EVERYWHERE!!

Its down to the last interview on Monday. With Deloitte. Its gonna be half a day. Doin alot of teamwork analysis and mind games I heard. But I guess the chances are pretty slim. They are interviewing 300++, and only hiring 70+. I mean...WAT ARE THE ODDS MAN!?!

Ok, I'm off to watch my season One of OC all over again. I am eagerly anticipating the 3rd episode of Season 2 to be out on the "market"!

The Incredibles is Fantabulous!!!

It beats Disney's Nemo-copycat-Shark Tale hands down! The animation is really life-like. The character's hair especially. Each strand looks so real! It's amazing what the graphics team at Pixar is capable of.

Anyway, I was once again susceptible to the temptation of mindless retail therapy! Argh!!!!!!

My buy of the day: Retro Ali-G looking shades
I LURVE IT!! Hides my dark circles and much more!! Its so huge!!

I eyed a similar looking one yesterday whilst in town, however, that would have set me back a whopping $30..one with no brand. But I spotted this pair at a VERY cheap price! Will not disclose the exact amt.. but its less than $20! Hahahaha...feeling smug cos I got a great bargain!

I almost went wild on my shopping trip in town today.

THERE'S JUST SO MANY THINGS TO BUY AND I HAVE SO LITTLE CASH!!

You know how hard it is to walk away from something u really really really like????
Sam had to "peel" and drag me away just to stop me from engaging in mindless impulse buys!

So in the end, I only bought a lapelled jacket!Haha...could have burned a $200 hole in my pocket if i bought everything I fell in love with today.

I'VE BEEN WANTING THE JACKET FOR THE LONGEST TIME!!

It caught on me after watching The OC. Marrissa always has one of these lapelled jackets on, and she looks simply gorgeous! (I know i know, she looks gorgeous, and that doesnt mean I will too immediately after putting on that "magic" coat! But i dun care wat u guys tink, ITS NICE!!!)

I predict the trend is picking up and soon everyone wld be like a wanna-be!! COPYING ME!!! MHUAHAUHA...shameless me! Minus Joel and Caline, who also got it abt the same time as me, so they are also in the same "league"! *rolls eyeballs*

Cant wait to wear it out. Endless possibilities and combinations! I imagine wearing it to school on days where I feel like dressing up. But, I might stick out like a sore thumb. That's because my sch is NTU.

People there (GENERALLY) have sad, pathetic dress sense. ESPECIALLY THE ENGINE STUDENTS! They just spoil the whole scenery. I can envision the stares I would get wearing the jacket.

Look at her! She's such a poser! Think she wat? Marissa from the OC ah!!?

Crazy one leh, she tink wat? Winter meh??? Its sunny island Spore for goodness sake!

Wah..yet another "ming xing" wanna-be. Get a life already!

Heck it! Jealous say la...no need to pretend.

Anyway, enough digression already. I bought the jacket from the new store, Forever 21 at wisma. They have many nice stuff and they are rather reasonably priced. Cheaper than Top shop and Zara, but still just as nice! Anyway, it seems like its true they only have limited pieces of each type of clothes. I have a habit of asking for a new piece whenever I buy my clothes. You know how it is when the one displayed on the rack gets tried on by 10,001 people?!! I hate wearing second hand clothes.

So i did the usual and asked for a new piece. The sales assistant gave me the smug, absurd, dun-you-know-it-already look and said that all their items are displayed out on the racks and they only come in limited stocks.

Perhaps this is one of their clever marketing ploy...causing the willing victim to make a bee-line for the cashier, lest someone else gets their hands on the "one and only" piece! Sheesh....

I wasn't taken in by that tactic! HAH! I even left the shop the first time and went shopping around the whole of Orchard before making my purchase when I got back to the shop hours later!

I'm not that weak-willed and gullible a shopper alright!

I gotta end here. Cant believe I can write so much abt a jacket purchase. Going to hit the pool and gym wif caline tmw early in the morning. Goodnight.

My last paper was....a complete goner.

I knew it! I had a premonition about it before the paper!

If i pack this module (which has a high probability), I can just kiss my job prospects at any of the Big 4 GOOO-DE-BYEEESSS....

Ok, so what if I got shortlisted by three of the firms ( EY, KPMG and Deloitte)?!? The whole cohort probably got it too! (Each of them shortlisted abt 300 students each!)

Only PWC did the wise thing and shortlist only abt 180 students. And I'm not one of them.

PWC is like the most desired big 4 firm to work in. They are the ones with the best working environment, with the most hospitable bosses, with the best welfare for the employees. I'll probably skip over when I have completed a yr stint in any of the other 3 firms.

Attending these interviews is like studying for an exam. I probably would have to read up on all the current accounting shit. From Corporate Governance to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Bleah.........................

Meanwhile, I'm hopping outta here. Going out and play SHOP!
Its time to unleash that inner self in me... that has been stifled for the past month! GRRRRR!!!

Its almost 6am in the morning and I'm awake.

No, I did not wake per sae, but I didn't even sleep since last night!

I'M THE NEWEST ADDITION TO THE INCREDIBLES!

Have been mugging (seriously) only from 10pm. Hence, I have to make up for the wasted time in the day. This has further affirmed that I'm not a morning person.

Unlike some of my pals who can sleep early and wake up SUPER early to study, I can't.

No matter how early I sleep the night before, I will still feel sleepy the next morning. Pointless.

Anyway, its so much more peaceful at night. No irritating brats wailing down the corridoors, no brother to disturb me with his blasting music, no mummy to nag at me to clean up this and that.

its just me and myself at night.

Btw, my brother is out of the army. He has finished his service to the nation. Its good that everyone in the family is at home more often these days.

My parents use to live in lonliness at home because both of their children are coincidentally stuck in BOON LAY!!! (Me in NTU, my brother is his camp)

But anyway, I still live in the days of a latch-key child. Oh well...at least its more lively at night nowadays.

Ok, gotta go back to my books. They are missing me and getting jealous already.

AA206 will be gone in the recess of my memory after this tues!

I've never been more pissed.

Wasted one whole day, getting the grocery and carrying it back.

Ironic I must say. Trying to plan sth to get us closer only makes us more frustrated and further apart.

I don't know if this has got to do with our friendship or is it just that we have issues ourselves?

A part of me hopes its the latter. But behind all those smiles, laughters and hugs, our friendship is beginning to look superficial.

The year is finally coming to an end. What a way to mark the end of the year long celebration of 21st birthdays with a dismal one. I guess I'm tired of it all...

No more. No more will I want to take that extra effort.

There's only so much I can take.

So I guess the next time we do a thing together...it'll be probably on the day one of us gets married. But would that work?

I do not know anymore.

Yeah...Just leave me alone yah.

Having spag for the next 5 days for every meal. Want some anybody?

Had a weird/scary dream last night.

Dreamt that a baby ghost brought/devour/demolished Sam off the face of this earth!!

Its so surreal....When i woke up, there's still this ringing/wailing sound in my ear. I slept with the sheets over my head last night. Didn't dare to peer out of it, for fear that I might see something in the curtains or my opened wardrobe.

I can only attribute this to the stupid movie posters of The Shutter!!! I was with Sam the other day, catching the show Ladder 49 (more abt that later on) when there were these promotional posters of the show The Shutter. Its like a collage of pictures where there were "spirits" unintentionally taken in the back/fore ground. They claim that the pictures were unadulterated.

A little background info on myself:

I HAVE A WEAK HEART AND I CAN'T TAKE SCARY SHOWS/SCENES/PICTURES!!

In fact, I can't remember the last time I have ever watched a horror flick. Yes yes...caline you can go sneering at me again!sheesh....

So yesh, that's why I have been having such thoughts and dreams. To add it on, the radio often plays the trailer! Its damn scary I tell you when you hear it in the middle of the night. Some DJs even run promotional contests to invite callers to relate their experience and the best/scariest story wins the tickets. WT*!?!?!?!

Coincidentally, Sam had a dream last night too!!! He was the ghost!!!

My gosh..talking abt sheer coincidence.

Anyway, he was this ghost who died jumping off a building, hence his hideous looks as a ghost. His fellow ghostlings complained that he looks ugly and blah blah blah... So he decided to "re-die" again, this time inhaling carbon monoxide in his car. So now, he looks like just what he is, "handsome" as a ghost.

I was laughing my heads off when he related the dream to me. I mean, this goes to show the extent of his "vain-ness"!!!! Whats wrong with him???? One day, he will take a longer time to get ready than me!Is he turning into a metrosexual or a closet gay?!?!!! *gasp*

As I mentioned earlier abt Ladder 49. Its a great show! If your proxy for how good a title is by how much it moves you, then this is FANTABULOUS in my context. I was sobbing uncontrollably in the show. Maybe its just me. But its really sad. I shall not spoil the plot and reveal the ending. Go watch it this weekend!!

Maybe you will get so motivated that you decide to join the SCDF!! Join the "mud-rockers" in there!

Oh, btw, my perception of Taufik from Spore Idol is slowly changing. Relunctant as I might...I have to admit he is good. Blew me away with his performance last week with the rendition of Al Green's Let's Stay Together. He's truely the dark horse.

Move over Ah Beng-ish, white-lilied face Sly, Taufik's in The House!!!:)

Didn't take much photos. Some were not in the mood. Basically there were two camps. The NUS and the NTU. The NTU pple are of course gleeful with their exams coming to an end soon...whilst the NUS people are all stressed up with preparations....MHUAHUAHAHAUH!!

i BELONG TO THE NTU CAMP!

For once, I'm thankful I'm in NTU.

Finally the first paper barrier is over...a great sigh of relief. But not that I will get that elusive A for this paper tho...just a mediocre 'C' I guess...

Taking a short break now...cos my next paper would be on the 16th. Loooooonnnggg gap... Draggy man.

My holidays are so shortened this time round.

Anyway, I am so proud of myself! I did a master piece of art today!!!
This sunday, chloe would be celebrating her birthday, prematurely again...so I decided to do her something sweet instead of going there empty handed.

Not that I haven got her a present already. Its a tradition that the 7 of us pool our funds together for each birthday girl. Yeah..that's the birthday system among us.

Ok, so back to the point. I spent almost 3 hours doing
....

a Photo Collage!!

I had initially wanted to do it with a photo collage maker. It would have been so much easier and less time consuming. However, I couldn't find one that is a freeware. So being low a finances, I did it myself with photoshop!

And the Photoshop wasn't even a full-fledged one, its the "Elements" version, meaning it has only the basic fundamentals. This would even make the task more difficult!

But the naturally talented me managed to do it!! Looks reasonably nice I think. I dun care...ITS FANTASTIC!!!

Cant wait to present it to chloe on sunday!

After 3 days of sleeping in the wee hours of the morning and torturing myself with THE deprivation of sleep...I'M READY FOR MY FIRST PAPER TMW!!

I pray that I would not screw things up in this last lap of the Race of Life. If i pack any...i repeat..ANY(!!!) one subject, I'm doomed.

Probably would only be employed as a lowly admin clerk when I graduate. And the worse thing is I have to pay off my huge study loan too! How long would it take me to pay it off if I work as a "lowly admin clerk" with a pay check of $900/mth!?!??
